AI Podcaster ("we," "our," or "us"), a product by The Yencee Labs, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information.
Information We Collect
Interview content
- The topic, notes, and interview brief you provide or generate
- Your voice conversation with Alex and the resulting episode audio
- The transcript, duration, processing status, and episode title
- An optional LinkedIn URL and public profile facts used to personalize questions
Account Information
- Your account identifier, name, and email address from Clerk
- Session balance and recording history
- Your camera video and separate audio tracks, only when you select video recording
- Payment status and transaction identifiers from Dodo Payments
- YouTube authorization tokens if you choose to connect a channel
- Basic page-view and service-usage analytics
How We Use Your Information
- To prepare a personalized interview and conduct it in real time
- To save, transcribe, play, download, recover, and delete your episodes
- To publish to YouTube when you explicitly request it
- To operate session credits, process purchases, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures
Third-Party Services
- Clerk: Account authentication
- Anthropic: Interview brief preparation
- OpenAI: Live AI interviewing, conversation reasoning, and transcript recovery. GPT-Live hosted recording storage is disabled; we save episode audio in our private storage.
- ElevenLabs: Earlier voice sessions and recovery of episodes recorded with ElevenLabs
- fal.ai / MiniMax / Sync: Optional AI host video generation. When you choose a video upgrade, the host voice track is sent for speech animation; your guest camera stays in our private storage and rendering service.
- Supabase: Database and private episode storage
- Apify: Optional retrieval of public LinkedIn profile information
- Dodo Payments: Checkout and payment processing
- Google/YouTube: Optional channel connection and publishing. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- PostHog: Product usage analytics
- Railway: Application hosting, video rendering, and operational logs
These providers process only the information needed for their part of the service and may process it in countries outside your own under their respective policies.
Data Storage
Optional guest photos, display names, bios and video styling are saved with your episode. Photos are resized and stripped of embedded metadata, and appear in videos you choose to download or publish. These styling assets are not sent to AI video providers. Finished episode audio is stored in a private Supabase bucket. Optional camera recordings, separate audio tracks, and rendered videos are also private and retained with the episode until you delete it. Playback and download links are short-lived and are issued only after account authorization. Interview metadata and transcripts are stored with your account until you delete an episode or request account-data deletion.
For episodes recorded with ElevenLabs, that provider may retain source conversation data for up to 730 days under our currently configured provider setting. That setting may change as our service evolves. The provider copy is used for transcription and failed-episode recovery and is not automatically erased when you delete an item from your AI Podcaster library. You may email us to request deletion from our service providers as well. We will confirm what can be removed and when.
Your Choices
- LinkedIn enrichment is optional and an interview works without it.
- YouTube connection and publishing happen only when you choose them.
- You can review or revoke AI Podcaster's Google/YouTube access in your Google Account security settings.
- You can delete individual episodes from the studio.
- You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of account data.
- For provider-level deletion, email privacy@yenceelabs.com and identify the account and episode.
Security
We use account authentication, private object storage, short-lived media links, and signed payment webhooks. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid including information you do not want processed as part of an interview.
